SCORE
Nationally, SCORE is America’s largest volunteer business counseling service. Founded in 1964, it is a nonprofit association dedicated to help those in small business, about to start one, or just thinking about it. SCORE is headquartered in Washington D. C. and has 389 chapters located through out the United States. It is a resource partner of the U. S. Small Business Administration and sponsored, in part, by the SBA. The local chapters are staffed with over 10,500 volunteers, who are selected for their business experience and high ethical standards. SCORE has earned its great reputation as “Counselors to America’s Small Business” with years of outstanding assistance to small business.
SCORE S E Wisconsin is part of the national organization. SCORE S E Wisconsin serves the eleven county area of southeast Wisconsin – Dodge, Fond du Lac, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha counties. SCORE S E Wisconsin, Chapter 28, was founded in 1965 and currently has over 60 members whose only goal is to help our clients succeed. We do this by providing FREE and CONFIDENTIAL counseling/mentoring (either in-person, over-the-phone or by e-mail) and low cost workshops.
